So, my wife and I were on our way home from San Diego and waiting in the airport when a young lady and her family passed us. Her daughter was being a bit over active and she said to her "be careful of that man, he has earned our respect". She then spoke to us because she saw the Rotary Emblem on my jacket. She and her family escaped the fires that destroyed the town of Paradise, California. She commented that Rotary Clubs from all over Northern California came to their aid with shelter, food, water, clothing, and supplies. So, whenever she sees a Rotarian she says Thank You.
